Strengthen Relationships. Produce Results. John Costa State Farm is hiring an Insurance Sales Representative to join the agency in Kearny, NJ. This is a sales-dominant role for someone who is comfortable creating opportunities, following up consistently, and turning customer conversations into new business. We are looking for a motivated professional who enjoys working toward measurable goals and wants the opportunity to grow their income through strong production. Spanish or Portuguese fluency is preferred, but not required. What Your Day Could Look Like: In this role, you will spend your time connecting with prospective and existing customers, uncovering insurance needs, and helping move opportunities through the sales process. Candidates must obtain: Property & Casualty license prior to Day 1 Life license prior to Day 1 Full guidance and support will be provided throughout the licensing process to help you complete the required licensing before your start date. Requirements We are looking for someone who is: Motivated by sales goals and earning potential Comfortable initiating conversations and prospecting Persistent with follow-up and willing to ask for the sale Confident communicating by phone and in person Organized and able to manage multiple opportunities at once Relationship-focused while maintaining a strong production mindset Accountable, self-motivated, and results-driven Prior sales or customer-facing experience is preferred.
