Role Summary Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a Service Dispatcher to enhance the efficiency and productivity of our service department. This critical role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong technical aptitude, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a team-oriented culture.More about the roleAssign repair orders to technicians based on skill level and workload to ensure timely and efficient service.Monitor repair order progress and provide follow-up on repair status to maintain workflow efficiency.Offer technical support to the shop as needed, assisting technicians in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.Track shop production metrics to ensure targets are being met and identify areas for improvement.Oversee shop training schedules to ensure technicians are up to date with manufacturer certifications and skills.Review repair orders to ensure proper documentation aligns with manufacturer policies and procedures.Assist service advisors and service managers with various daily tasks to support department operations.What we look forStrong organizational and multitasking abilities.Technical knowledge of automotive repairs and diagnostics.Familiarity with manufacturer policies and procedures.Excellent communication skills to coordinate with technicians, advisors, and managers.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Previous experience in a service dispatcher role or similar position is preferred.BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance optionsShort-term and Long-term disability insurance 401(k) plan with company matchPaid time off and holiday leaveOpportunities for professional development and growthOurisman Automotive Group is an equal opportunity employer.
