Senior Pastor

First Baptist Church of Grayson Kentucky is seeking a Senior Pastor as a primary pastoral and administrative leader.

FBC Grayson is located in a rural area of Northeastern Kentucky. Grayson is known as the “Heart of the Parks,” with Grayson Lake, Carter Caves and Greenbo State Parks in its backyard.

The Senior Pastor will be accountable for a multigenerational church, which has strong programming for children all the way through senior adults. The candidate will relate effectively, compassionately, and respectfully with people of all ages and backgrounds. He will be committed to the calling of pastoral ministry and the life of the church throughout the Grayson community.

FBC Grayson affirms and adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We are active members of the Greenup Baptist Association, Kentucky Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention.

Personal and spiritual qualifications of the Senior Pastor.

– He must be a man called by God into the Gospel Ministry.
– He must be in full accord with the objectives and doctrines of this church.
– He shall be a man of scriptural ordination.
Residency Preference:

Reside in Carter County and maintain an active presence in the community.
