Highpoint Apartments | Omaha, NE

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join Highpoint Apartments in Omaha. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and helping prospective residents find a place they are proud to call home.

The successful candidate will support leasing and marketing efforts while providing exceptional service to both prospective and current residents. Strong follow-up, organization, communication, and sales skills are important, along with a positive and professional approach to working with residents and the onsite team.

Schedule

Full-Time | Approximately 40 hours per week | Saturday Availability Required | Schedule to be Discussed During Interview

The Successful Leasing Consultant Will:

• Conduct apartment tours and effectively present the features and benefits of the community to prospective residents
• Respond to leasing inquiries, qualify prospective residents, and assist with the application and leasing process
• Prepare leasing documentation and complete move-in procedures accurately and efficiently
• Build positive relationships with prospective and current residents through responsive and professional customer service
• Support resident retention efforts and participate in resident events, promotions, and community activities
• Assist with marketing and outreach initiatives designed to generate leasing traffic and maintain occupancy
• Develop relationships with local businesses and community organizations through outreach marketing
• Conduct market research and monitor local apartment market trends
• Ensure vacant apartments, common areas, and community amenities are clean, attractive, and tour-ready
• Create and process resident work orders and assist with follow-up as needed
• Deliver notices throughout the property as required
• Maintain accurate resident and leasing records
• Represent the community and Burlington Capital Properties in a professional and positive manner
• Participate in staff meetings and support property goals and initiatives
• Walk the property regularly and assist with maintaining a welcoming appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years of residential leasing experience required
• Previous customer service experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Strong sales, leasing, and follow-up abilities
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer and office equipment proficiency
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation for local outreach marketing activities
• Ability to walk the property daily and conduct apartment tours, including navigating stairs as needed
• Must be comfortable working Saturdays and participating in a flexible schedule based on property needs
• Multifamily housing experience preferred
• Marketing or outreach experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
• Experience with property management software preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to walk the property and conduct apartment tours throughout the workday
• Ability to navigate stairs and access apartments, common areas, and other property locations
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the community as needed
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required by the position
