Job Summary Under close supervision, perform routine clinical laboratory tests of a repetitive nature. Responsibilities include: Qualitative and quantitative clinical laboratory testing on patient specimens following established policies and procedures Preparation and maintenance of accurate specimen records Preparation of media, stains, reagents, and other solutions Analysis of test results, relaying them to physicians and authorized personnel, and ensuring conformance to quality control parameters Utilization, calibration, and maintenance of automated, non‑automated, and computerized laboratory equipment Performing quality control checks on equipment and maintaining equipment cleanliness and readiness Obtaining patient specimens such as blood and transporting them to the laboratory Compliance with administrative laboratory policies, lab safety, OSHA accreditation, and regulatory agency requirements Promotes the values of DMC by demonstrating behaviors supportive of community welfare, quality, respect, teamwork, communication, innovation, and efficient resource use.
