Basic Functions and Scope of Job:  We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. You will also play a key part in managing invoicing, procurement, budgeting, and assisting with monthly financial reporting and audits. 

Key Accountabilities?  

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations. 
• Review and prepare general ledger and subsidiary ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and proper accounting treatment. 
• Track capital expenditures and assist with maintaining the asset register, ensuring plant assets are reviewed annually. 
• Manage invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. 
• Understand the procurement process, including creating and tracking purchase orders. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. 
• Manages all expense reports and credit card reconciliation including administration of the tracking / approval system. 
• Assist with internal / external audits. 
• Communicate regularly with teams in sales, purchasing, logistics, and other departments to foster a solution-driven environment. 
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and company policies. 
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain accuracy.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience  

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 
• Proven experience with financial reporting, compliance, and general accounting functions. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. 
• Proficiency with accounting software, MS Excel, and SAP/ERP systems. 
• Strong understanding of journal entries, accounts payable, invoicing, and procurement processes. 
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
