The Concrete Plant Yard Hand plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of a concrete production facility. Working closely within a small team, the Yard Hand performs physical, manual labor tasks to ensure materials are handled efficiently, equipment is operated safely, and the site remains clean and organized. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position requires a reliable individual dedicated to maintaining smooth and safe plant activities without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Handle and transport raw materials required for concrete production
- Operate site equipment under supervision to assist mixing and production
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the plant yard
- Support concrete mixing processes by preparing materials and tools
- Assist with routine maintenance and upkeep tasks around the plant
Required Qualifications
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor-intensive tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in concrete production or related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
