Position Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, explaining each procedure with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality and precise images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures meticulously and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system
• Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education and Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
