In-House Counsel

We're hiring an experienced in-house attorney to serve as a strategic legal partner to executive leadership across a growing multi-state healthcare organization. If you've built your career at the intersection of healthcare law and commercial real estate — and you want a seat at the table where legal strategy actually shapes operational decisions — this is that role.

You'll support corporate and facility operations across Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and South Dakota , advising on everything from regulatory compliance to acquisitions to physician agreements to ground-up development projects.

What you'll own:

• Strategic legal counsel to the executive team and operational leaders
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the full range of commercial agreements
• Commercial real estate transactions: acquisitions, leases, construction, development, and dispositions
• Healthcare regulatory compliance across six states
• Physician, vendor, management, employment, and service contracts
• M&A, joint ventures, and corporate structuring
• Litigation management and outside counsel coordination
• Board governance, risk management, and policy development
• Partnership with HR on employment matters and investigations

What you bring:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing (additional state licensure a plus)
• 8+ years of healthcare and real estate transactional experience
• In-house healthcare counsel experience strongly preferred — hospitals, physician groups, ambulatory facilities, or healthcare management companies
• Comfort operating in a multi-state environment with executive-level visibility
