Oncology Nurse Educator - Birmingham, AL

AbbVie seeks an Oncology Nurse Educator to provide clinical education and resources to healthcare professionals supporting patient management on oncology therapies. The field-based role covers Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, and surrounding areas, requiring engagement with academic and community oncology practices.
Responsibilities
- Deliver proactive and reactive education to allied healthcare professionals on approved therapies and patient management
- Develop customized educational plans addressing account needs through clinical insights and account analysis
- Educate on product preparation, administration, adverse event mitigation, monitoring, and management protocols
- Conduct 1:1 presentations, in-services, and podium presentations at clinical meetings and conferences
- Document customer interactions, manage resources, and collaborate across internal functional areas
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD; Master's degree preferred
- Current active healthcare provider license
- 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience with recent hematology background
- Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice settings
- Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills with clinical data interpretation ability
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and relevant applications
- Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel 50% including overnight
