Territory Sales Manager (South Boston, MA)

Position: Territory Sales Manager Reports to Title: Regional Sales Director Department/Division: Sales Job Code/Classification: Salary, Exempt Position Overview The primary function of the Territory Sales Manager is to achieve sales growth and net hearing instrument sales while building, growing and maintaining customer relationships. Candidates must live within the territory. Essential Functions Achieving net hearing instrument sales quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Building and maintaining customer relationships to grow current business, addressing service issues, managing returns, and obtaining competitive information. Preparing an annual territory business plan and updating it quarterly with regional director and inside sales counterpart. The plan includes: Sales growth aligned with corporate goals. Appropriate zoning of customer base in region. Working effectively with inside sales to prospect, develop, and recruit new customers each month. Introducing and establishing new products with existing and new customers. Coordinating training for customers on GN Resound’s hearing devices and providing software and hardware support. Developing effective communication and presentation skills to convincingly present GN Resound’s technology story to individuals and groups. Utilizing marketing tools and open houses to build customer business and loyalty. Maintaining accuracy of the GN Resound customer database in the region. Completing appropriate sales and corporate reporting requirements timely. Maintaining professional standards of behavior and decorum as a representative of the company at meetings. Competencies Excellent computer skills: proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access. Experience with database management and adherence to HR and company policies. Exemplary platform presentation skills. Meeting all performance and behavior expectations. Performing responsibilities with quality and professionalism. Following good safety practices. Establishing positive relationships with staff, customers, and partners. Demonstrating behavioral and technical competencies to complete position responsibilities. Safeguarding sensitive and confidential company information. Desired Qualifications Preferred Education: 4–Year College Degree Experience: 3+ years in outside sales of tangible products, preferred. 3+ years business-to-business selling experience (non-retail), preferred. Travel Up to 75%. Direct Reports None Indirect Reports None Working Environment Field Based. Physical Demands Must be able to lift 15 lbs. Duties include sitting, walking, and standing. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Salaried position, Monday – Friday, with occasional evening requirements. Free hearing aids for family members. Pay Transparency Notice Compensation includes a competitive base pay plus performance-based commissions. Base pay may range from $75,000 to $85,000. Total compensation including at-plan commissions may range from $210,000 to $230,000. Other benefits include annual bonuses, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
