Bedell Cellars – East End Wholesale Sales Manager
Located on the North Fork of Long Island, Bedell Cellars is a 46-year-old, sustainably farmed, family-owned estate vineyard and winery crafting some of the most critically acclaimed wines on the East Coast.
We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated East End Wholesale Sales Manager to lead wholesale sales efforts across the Twin Forks and Suffolk County while representing one of New York's premier wineries. This is a unique opportunity to inherit an established portfolio, strong brand recognition, and a loyal customer base throughout the East End.

Essential Duties
•  Maintain and grow an established portfolio of restaurant, retail, and hospitality accounts while actively developing new business opportunities throughout the East End.
•  Manage inventory allocations and monitor product availability to support sales objectives.
•  Maintain customer pricing, coordinate price postings, and ensure pricing accuracy across distributors and key accounts.
•  Collaborate closely with management on key initiatives, pricing, and promotional programs.
•  Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals through strategic planning and market execution.
•  Deliver exceptional customer service through consistent account visits, communication, and follow-up.
•  Conduct educational tastings, staff trainings, and in-store events to increase brand visibility and drive sales.
•  Promote and sell Bedell Cellars wines throughout the East End, with a focus on building strong, lasting relationships with top restaurants, retailers, and hospitality partners.

Responsibilities
•  Meet or exceed company sales quotas and contribute to the development of territory-specific sales strategies.
•  Maintain and grow key accounts, with a focus on placement in high-quality restaurants and retail programs.
•  Participate in regular sales meetings and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, production, and operations teams.
•  Submit timely sales reports, expense documentation, and forecasts.
•  Manage and deploy point-of-sale (POS) and marketing materials to support sell-through.
•  Represent Bedell Cellars at trade events, wine dinners, tastings, and festivals.
•  Manage inventory allocations, monitor depletion rates, and work closely with production and management to maximize distribution while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
•  Coordinate and maintain wholesale price postings, distributor pricing, and customer pricing updates to ensure accuracy across all markets.
•  Work closely with distributors to manage inventory, execute programming, resolve issues, and identify new market opportunities.
•  Develop annual account plans for key customers to drive distribution, programming, and long-term growth.
•  Serve as the primary point of contact for East End wholesale customers, ensuring timely communication, problem resolution, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications
•  Minimum 2 years of experience in fine wine wholesale distribution, importing, or supplier sales.
•  Strong knowledge of the Long Island wine markets.
•  Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
•  Self-motivated with strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
•  Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and passion for the wine industry.
•  Ability to lift and carry 40 lb. wine cases and manage a physically active workday.
•  Reliable transportation for travel throughout Long Island (occasional evening and weekend events required).

Education and Experience
•  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field strongly preferred.
•  At least 2 years of combined experience in wine sales, brand building, and account management.

•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation:
Salary and commission commensurate with experience.
