Fall 2026 Internship: Equipment & Operations Manager

Overview Job Title: Equipment & Operations Intern – Carolina Ascent FC - Women’s Professional Soccer Team Location: Charlotte, NC Compensation: For College Credit About Carolina Ascent FC Carolina Ascent FC is a professional women’s soccer team based in Charlotte, North Carolina, competing in the Division One league. Our mission is to empower athletes, inspire community engagement, and deliver world-class soccer experiences. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated Equipment & Operations Intern to help organize and execute daily training sessions, game day and community events. Position Overview The Equipment & Operations Intern will support the Carolina Ascent FC Women\'s Division One Soccer Team in the planning and execution of training sessions and games. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in equipment management, sports operations, and community engagement. The intern will assist in daily training and match day operations and community clinics, among other initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in equipment and operations, teamwork, and leadership within the sports industry. Key Responsibilities Assist with the planning and execution of daily training and match-day events (mornings and weekends). Support community outreach programs and clinics, helping coordinate logistics and assist with on-site activities. Provide logistical support for daily operations, working with staff to ensure smooth functioning. Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure the successful execution of all events. Qualifications Strong interest in sports, planning & organization, and community outreach. Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a collaborative team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required for training and match days High level of maturity, professionalism, and accountability. Willingness to take direction, learn from others, and adapt to new tasks. Current enrollment in a college or university program (required for credit compensation).
