Overview We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist - Molecular to join our team in New Orleans, LA. In this role, you will perform complex molecular testing, including PCR, next-generation sequencing, and other nucleic acid-based assays, to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Responsibilities Preparing, analyzing, and validating molecular test results with precision and adherence to quality standards. Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and laboratory protocols. Documenting laboratory procedures and results accurately in accordance with regulatory requirements. Collaborating with clinical teams to interpret test results and provide technical expertise. Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities to uphold laboratory excellence. Qualifications Ideal candidates possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of molecular techniques.
