Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a closed-door mail order pharmacy in the Santa Clarita, CA area for a contract opportunity lasting approximately 13+ weeks. This role offers a chance to join a fast-paced pharmacy environment focused on accurately filling and preparing medications for patient delivery.
Working hours offer flexibility, with shifts available from 10 am to 7 pm or 11 am to 8 pm, and the position requires 24 to 32 hours per week, ideal for professionals seeking part-time or varied scheduling options. New graduates and those with retail pharmacy experience are encouraged to apply, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a mail order setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and prepare medications for shipment to patients
- Follow pharmacy protocols to ensure compliance and safety
- Maintain inventory and assist with stocking as needed
- Communicate effectively with the pharmacy team to support workflow
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician certification or equivalent training
- Experience in retail or mail order pharmacy environments preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a closed-door setting
- Willingness to start immediately and commit to the duration of the assignment
