IMMEDIATE HIRING OPPORTUNITY FOR A FULL-TIME/PART-TIME EMT IN ONEONTA, NEW YORK AND DELAWARE COUNTY We're hiring an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients. Responsibilities: Assesses patients, determines necessary care, and delivers emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques, equipment and EMT scope of practice. Documents patient details, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights. Takes pride providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients. Use appropriate EMT skills, such as bleeding control, oxygen administration and shock management. An EMT operates an ambulance according to applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles. Works collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow prehospital providers.
