TQI Solutions is currently seeking a Network Administrator – Journeyman to support our customer. This position provides advanced, hands‑on field support across multiple sites, ensuring reliable network performance, efficient troubleshooting, and the maintenance of critical infrastructure. Responsibilities Configure, manage, and troubleshoot secure Layer 2/3 network infrastructure (Cisco/Palo Alto) across classified and unclassified DoW networks to ensure continuous, secure mission operations. Key Responsibilities Configure and manage routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure (Cisco DNA Center, ISE, Firepower, Palo Alto, VPNs). Implement firewall/ACL rules and perform continuous operational and network security monitoring. Enforce DoW cybersecurity mandates (STIGs, SRGs, IAVAs) via vulnerability management and IOS/PanOS upgrades. Maintain accurate baseline configurations and technical documentation for all network devices. Qualifications Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance. Cyber Workforce (CWF): Must meet qualification requirements outlined in DoW Directive 8140.01. Experience: Journeyman-level experience (typically 3-5 years) administering Cisco and Palo Alto hardware, Layer 2/3 protocols, and maintaining DoW network security compliance. This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Candidates must be eligible for a background investigation.
