Floor Assembly Team Member
A manufacturing company in Little River-Academy is seeking dependable Floor Assembly Team Members to support the final assembly and testing of products in their facility. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, comfortable working with their hands, and able to maintain quality while performing repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test parts and systems according to company procedures
- Follow diagrams and instructions to ensure proper assembly and quality standards
- Use basic hand and power tools such as power screwdrivers, soldering irons, and small drills
- Cross-train across multiple workstations and assist with different assembly processes
- Help maintain accurate inventory counts and organized work areas
- Meet production and assembly timelines set by the plant manager
- Identify and communicate potential product or assembly issues to management
- Assist with training new team members as experience grows
Qualifications
- Ability to read diagrams and follow written instructions
- Comfort performing repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic quality control practices
- Experience using hand or power tools is preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to work full-time on site
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Schedule
- 4-day work week (4/10 schedule)
- Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Includes 30-minute lunch and three 10-minute breaks
