This position is responsible for retrieving materials to create assembly kits for the manufacturing floor as well as retrieving other materials, as needed, which are necessary for the manufacturing process. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.Job DescriptionGathers product components for assembly based on pick list and work ordersCounts parts to determine inventory accuracyMaintains accurate inventory databasePrints and attaches labels to accurately identify partsIdentify and communicate discrepancies to supervisorConveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areaCounts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheetWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hearThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsAble to stand/walk 8 hours per daySpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focusConsistently, regularly and predictably at work and on timeOther duties may be assigned as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Additional InformationWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
