EyenamicsNY Career Opportunity: Experienced Ophthalmic Technician / Scribe

Location: Forest Hills, New York

This position is for experienced ophthalmic technicians only. Applications without prior ophthalmology or optometry clinical experience will not be considered.

EyenamicsNY is a specialty ophthalmology practice with a strong focus on neuro-ophthalmology and glaucoma management . We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented ophthalmic technician/scribe to join our clinical team.

Role Responsibilities

• Medical scribing during patient encounters, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation

• Comprehensive patient workups , including history taking and pre-testing

• Diagnostic testing , including visual acuity, autorefraction, and lensometry

• Advanced imaging , including OCT and slit-lamp photography

• Supporting clinic flow while maintaining exceptional patient care standards

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

• Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician or ophthalmic scribe
  
  
• Familiarity with ophthalmic testing and clinical workflows

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic

• Excellent communication and professionalism
