Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage manufacturing crews and processes to ensure optimal productivity
- Prepare and communicate production schedules effectively
- Conduct regular evaluations of each stage of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency
- Inspect products to ensure quality and completeness
- Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production goals
- Train new employees on machinery use and safety procedures
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and maintenance procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory position, preferably in production plants
- Proficiency with a variety of production machinery and tools
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Consistent and dependable attendance record
