Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience in self-contained, inclusion, or behavior support settings preferred
• Strong ability to adapt teaching strategies to varied learning needs
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and assess individualized education plans
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth in various school settings
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Maintain up-to-date records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
