Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individuals' needs and craft specialized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply proven techniques to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities
• Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide comprehensive, integrated care
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic methods to encourage continued progress outside of therapy
• Assess and Document Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and modify plans as necessary to keep patients on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Opportunities for ongoing education and professional certifications supported and encouraged

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
