Job Title: IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician


Location: New Hyde Park, NY


Pay: $1,108.80 per week


Shifts: 8am - 6pm or 10:30am to 7:30pm (rotating start/end times as workload requires)


Seven Healthcare are seeking an IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician for an engaging contract-to-hire position in New Hyde Park, NY. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. With on-the-job training provided, this is an excellent opportunity for candidates, even those without prior sterile compounding experience, to grow in their pharmacy careers.

Key Responsibilities of the IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician
  • Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
  • Work with Billing Supervisor to enter data for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement
  • Prepackage medication for dispensing in accordance with standards and regulations
  • Assist in the final checking and packaging of prescriptions for accurate and timely customer delivery
  • Maintain inventory practices, including receiving, rotating medications, and conducting physical inventory
  • Ensure calibration, safety, and cleanliness of equipment with Technician Supervisor
Requirements of the IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician
  • Must be a NYS Registered Pharmacy Technician
