Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine
• BLS certification
• 2 years‘ experience as a nuclear med tech
• Nuclear cardiology experience required
• NMT credential required: ARRT(N) or CNMT
• CT credential required: ARRT(CT), NMTCB(CT), or R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT)
• R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT) accepted in place of separate Nuclear Medicine and CT credentials

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts
• Hours: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Winter holiday requirement: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year‘s
• Based on department needs, clinicians must either work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays, as needed
• Clinical experience includes pulmonary lung scan perfusion and ventilation/perfusion studies
• Clinical experience includes myocardial exercise/rest multiple, exercise/rest single, and pharmacologic studies
