Be part of something bigger—together, we can change lives and create lasting hope! Job Type Pool / Non-Exempt Shift Details Pool: Shift hours as needed; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. A minimum of two shifts per month required. New employee orientation is three full days and does require attendance for all days. Training is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday onsite and full days' attendance is required. Summary of Job The Clinician II develops a recovery service plan and uses recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling to engage individuals in their individual recovery journey. The Clinician II also orients individuals to the program by collaborating and assessing needs, identifying challenges and facilitating the development of goals in the treatment and recovery process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Care & Advocacy: Serves as the mental health professional for individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community agency, when applicable. Conducts thorough clinical assessments and treatment plans for services. Assess the individual’s needs and provides appropriate support and referral. Provides short-and long-term recovery-oriented therapeutic counseling and education, on a group or individual basis. Provides family education and family counseling. Facilitates recovery education courses. Compliance & Risk Management: Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion. Completes clinical documentation as required. Complete Incident Reports according to policy. Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. State professional certification where applicable. Must be able to pass de‑escalation training, as defined by state requirements Driving Requirements If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations’ driving policy. If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non‑Driver Attestation form must be signed. Travel required based on business need. Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement. Successful complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism. Must be able to pass education verification check. Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states. A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
