Installer & Service Technician

If so, we are currently seeking an Custom Sign Installation & Service Technician to join our team! As an Custom Sign Installation & Service Technician , you'll play a vital role of assembling and installing our finished custom signage to our clients. What you’ll do: Prepare mounting surfaces by drilling, anchoring, or framing as needed. Set up ladders, scaffolding, or boom lifts and ensure proper safety protocols are followed. Secure work areas to prevent hazards to pedestrians or vehicles. Work closely with the team to understand installation specifications. Assemble and install various types of signage according to blueprints and design specifications. Mount signs on buildings, poles, or other structures using appropriate tools and hardware. Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and secure placement of signage. Install lighting components such as LEDs, for illuminated signs. Operate hand and power tools. Use heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, cranes, or lifts for high-level installations. Properly store and maintain tools and equipment. Perform appropriate checks to meet safety and quality standards. What you’ll need: High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required. Class A CDL driver’s license with air brake endorsement is preferred. Experience in sign installation, construction, or a related trade is preferred. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Willing to learn and train on new techniques, tools, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Basic electrical knowledge for installing illuminated signage. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Physical and Other Requirements: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (20-50 lbs.) and work on ladders or scaffolding. Comfort with heights and experience using boom lifts, scissor lifts, and cranes. Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Must be willing to travel to various job sites as needed. Must be available for overtime or weekend work when projects require it. What you’ll need to be successful: Ability to work independently and as part of a team and follow directions from supervisors. Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious with a strong work ethic. Ability to easily adapt to changing situations, workflow, and deadlines. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients or the public. What we offer: Competitive wages based on experience, starting at $21.00-$24.00 per hour.
