Phlebotomist
$17.75 - $26 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for a Patient Service Center or Client office in Clinton, Maryland. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, delivering customer service, and handling administrative tasks. Monday-Friday 6am-3pm with rotating Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses
- Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and laboratory analysis
- Process billing information, collect patient payments, and provide customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
- Proven exceptional customer service track record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
Compensation: $17.75 - $26.00 per hour
