Operating Room Surgical Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position with PM shifts. The schedule includes 4 shifts of 7.5 hours each week, totaling 30 hours per week. The shift times are from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Surgical Nurse to support all surgical procedures, including General, Urology, GYN, ENT, Vascular, Pain Management, and Orthopedic surgeries. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the operating room is prepared and sterile, and assisting the surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room for surgeries.
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide care as needed.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all surgical instruments are accounted for.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless operation during surgeries.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room nursing role.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Active nursing license applicable to the state.
