Job PurposeDevelop the Honda Aircraft Quality Management System (QMS) including identification/resolution of quality problems quickly to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain quality competitiveness. Review multiple data sources to evaluate, summarize and draw conclusions to identify trends that lead to countermeasure activity.Key AccountabilitiesAs a company-wide function, develop, maintain, and assure adherence to the Honda Aircraft Quality Management Policy (QMP).Use engineering fundamentals to identify and resolve issues to improve business practices by leading working groups with Quality representatives and subject matter experts.Utilize various data sources (internal and external) such as normal warranty issues, surveys, ADs, FAA SDRs, CAs, QNs.Be a resource to business units and divisions on concerns related to Quality data, corrective action procedures, audits, training, and other items as needed.Develop clear QMS supplements, standards and procedures.Look for data trends not previously identified through deep understanding of the dataSupport cleaning data to ensure proper classification of market problemsTransform data using SQL, Python, etc to identify trends that lead to actionable problems and defend analysis to promote for countermeasure activityGenerate groupings to support identification and classification of market problemsUtilize modelling, statistics, and trend analysis to forecast future failure rates for known problemsQualifications, Experience, and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science; or equivalent and strongly-related experience7+ years of related experience2 years of experience at a Honda companyKnowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001/AS9100) or Regulatory Quality SystemsProficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointKey Performance IndicatorsL3 Business plan theme or IT theme milestones completed on schedule with expected results.Product and business improvement proposals developed to meet prescribed planning cycle requirementsDevelop Business Unit/Department KPIs based on data analysis and research.Decisions ExpectedDecide best countermeasure for audit non-conformities.Decide best options for business improvement reflections to the QMS.Decide best improvements to system issuesWorking ConditionsHighly collaborative open office environment At the spot judgement to understand actual situation during issue analysis.Occasional domestic and international travel for training, business collaboration, and benchmarking.Job SummaryJob number: 10861Profession: Design & Engineering
