Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic 5/2 Location: Cincinnati, OH Position Summary Our Maintenance Mechanic performs routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance work on office and plant equipment, machines, and building facilities. Responsibilities Repair and service all site equipment, buildings, and furnishings. Communicate issues with the Maintenance team verbally and through email. Check and repair critical equipment. Inspect cooling towers, mills, chillers, air compressors, boilers, etc. Perform preventative maintenance through inspection, lubrication, filter replacement, cleaning, etc. Must be able to complete an OSHA Respiratory Fit Test. Minimum Education and Experience High School diploma/GED. Knowledge of pipe fitting, electrical wiring, and general mechanics. Must be capable of lifting up to 55 lbs. and stand on feet for long periods of time. Must be familiar and thoroughly experienced in all facets of maintenance: Mechanical: Pumps (positive displacement and centrifugal), drives (gearbox, belt, chain, hydraulic, couplings, motor‑electric, motors‑air, bearings, shafts, nuts, bolts, taps, and dies). Electrical: High voltage 460 V 3‑phase, motor controls, low voltage (120 V power and control wiring), AC and DC systems, computer‑controlled systems. Utilities: Piping (water, air, and steam), boilers—understand steam condensate system—tracing, coils, traps, and pumps; air compressor system—filters, regulators, dryers, and lubricators; HVAC—air handling, blowers, dust collectors. Vehicles: Lift trucks—electric EE rated, battery, and hydraulics.
