Environmental Transactional Associate – Philadelphia, PA
Direct Counsel is representing a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Transactional Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its Environmental Risk Management team in Philadelphia.
Key Responsibilities- Advise on environmental risks related to real estate and M&A transactions
- Conduct environmental due diligence for real estate acquisitions, developments, financings, and sales
- Structure, negotiate, and document solutions to environmental liabilities
- Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, loan agreements, liability transfer agreements , and related documents
- Work directly with clients on complex, deal-driven transactions
- 3–6 years of transactional environmental experience
- Experience at a large or boutique law firm preferred
- Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent legal writing and communication abilities
- Pennsylvania Bar admission required or eligibility for admission
- Ability to manage sophisticated transactions and work directly with clients
