Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in New Haven, Connecticut.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: ICU - Intensive Care UnitDiscipline: RNStart Date: 10/02/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a hospital setting.Responsibilities:Assess and monitor critically ill patients and identify changes in condition.Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other critical care parameters.Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilators and other critical-care equipment.Assist physicians with procedures and emergency interventions.Provide comprehensive patient care and pain management.Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.Educate and support patients and their families.Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.Active RN license.BLS certification required.ACLS certification required.Previous ICU/critical care experience preferred.Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.About Prime StaffingAt Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
