• Own the Front Desk Flow: Process payments schedule appointments and manage patient check-ins with lightning efficiency
• Protect Patient Information: Maintain organized records while strictly following HIPAA regulations

• You have experience with insurance verification and medical billing (non-negotiable!).
• You can explain complex insurance concepts to frustrated patients with empathy and clarity.
• Youre obsessively detail-oriented a single digit error in an insurance ID can cost thousands.
• Youve worked as a Medical Receptionist Administrative Assistant or in any Customer Service role in a medical office setting.
• Youre tech-savvy with medical billing software and EMR systems.
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and can find billing solutions that work for both patients and the clinic.
• You maintain a positive attitude even when dealing with challenging financial conversations.

The Details:

• Location: Our state-of-the-art urgent care facility
• Schedule: PRN with flexible shifts (some evenings/weekends)
• Requirements :
  • High school diploma preferred; X-Ray Tech Medical Assistant or related certification is a plus
  • Active BLS certification required or must be obtained within defined onboarding period.

Compensation
At AFC we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices. The anticipated pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00 per hour . Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of factors including but not limited to relevant experience skills education certifications internal equity and market conditions. We take a holistic approach to compensation that reflects the value each team member brings to our organization.
