Mortgage Loan Closer Position
Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking experienced applicants to fill a Mortgage Loan Closer position. This position will be based out of the Hurstbourne office. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review approved mortgage loans to determine conditions needed prior to closing
- Verify accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents (title, insurance, tax forms, etc.)
- Assemble documents for delivery to the title company, broker or lending officer for closing
- Prepare closing packages/documents/disclosures
- Ensure mortgage as a whole, meets all mortgage compliance regulations
- Other duties as assigned by the Mortgage Closing Manager or management
Qualifications:
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of the Loan Origination System and other computer software systems
Experience Level Required:
- At least 2+ years experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in mortgage closing
