Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and extensive equipment repairs on industrial machinery such as large hydraulic presses, induction heaters, and conveyors independently, following written and verbal instructions. Support electricians and other maintenance staff in performing equipment repairs. Provide guidance to Maintenance 1, 2, and 3 employees and contractors to accomplish projects. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, recommend solutions, and conduct repairs. Document maintenance activities as required and record time management in the database. Adhere to established policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations, and notify management of equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries. Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner, including returning tools to designated areas. Perform other general duties as directed. Qualifications Minimum 5 years proven experience working as an electromechanical maintenance technician at an industrial manufacturing facility. Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings and schematics. Advanced electrical skills with control power and circuits from 480 Vac to 24 Vdc. Proven experience with troubleshooting motor controls and VFDs. Related professional degree or technical training degree preferred.
