AHOBX is seeking a full-time, year-round HVAC Installer to join its team. Applicants must be hard-working, goal oriented with a commitment to team success. Customer service is a must. This position is Monday-Friday with an after-hour on-call rotation. All service/installation experience will be considered. Requirements Physical/Mental Demands: Required to sit, stand, bend, walk using hands and fingers to control objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs and ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear and see/access. Must have ability to lift 50 pounds individually, unassisted, and up to 100 pounds with assistance (dollies, hand trucks, additional persons) on a regular and daily basis; reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language. Constant need to complete forms, read reports, and visually determine the correct working order of physical aspect of units and other property facilities. Machines/Equipment: A valid NC driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR); the operation of basic tools and equipment; smart phone, tablet, or similar electronic device. Work Environment: Exposed to outside weather conditions to include extreme heat, extreme cold and high winds, hazardous chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust - fast paced schedule, physically strenuous; working in attics or crawl spaces; climbing flights of steps inside and out; maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic.
