Work Environment

This position will be conducted onsite in our state-of-the-art hospital setting, equipped with the latest medical technologies and resources tailored to patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including interviewing, examining, diagnosing, and creating treatment plans.
• Lead and assist in clinical trials regarding prostate biopsy methods, ensuring proper recruitment and follow-ups.
• Educate patients and their families on managing urologic conditions, preventive health, and wellness strategies.
• Prescribe medications and therapies according to institutional agreements while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Document extensive health assessments and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and patient referrals.
• Act as a liaison between urology and various healthcare departments, optimizing patient services.
• Manage patient inquiries concerning medication, test results, and appointment scheduling, ensuring timely responses.
• Mentor and collaborate with nursing and medical staff to enhance team performance and patient care outcomes.
• Design and oversee research protocols in alignment with hospital standards, contributing to the advancement of urologic care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, following healthcare compliance and best practices.

You will primarily work with a diverse range of patients facing urologic concerns, from benign conditions to complex diseases. Our patient demographic includes local residents as well as those traveling from further locales, all requiring individualized treatment plans and coordinated care. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active Physician Assistant licensure in the State of New York, in addition to maintaining CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting, preferably in urology or a related field.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting, particularly within an outpatient department.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time Physician Assistant role ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
