Job Title: Clinical Care LVN/LPN (Float) – Part-Time / Contract

Pay rate: $37.17 an hr
Location: St. Michael, MN 55376 (on-site; float within ~40 miles as needed)
Type: Contract to hire

Overview

We’re hiring a  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)for a  patient-facing clinic role supporting high-quality, evidence-based care. This role requires strong clinical skills, comfort with a fast-paced outpatient environment, and flexibility to float to nearby clinics when needed.

Schedule

• Primary required days:   Monday & Friday, 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Training/Orientation (first 3 weeks):   Monday, Thursday, Friday (same general hours)
• Work schedules are typically built in 6-week blocks after training
• May include  every other weekend and  some major holidays

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral/injectable/IV/topical as applicable)
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vitals, and document responses
• Support point-of-care services (as trained/allowed)
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
• Keep the clinic clean, stocked, organized, and patient-ready
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and clinical team members

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in good standing
• BLS certification (must be valid at least 30+ days beyond start date )
• High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• 1+ year healthcare experience with recent background in:
• • Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
• Experience with  phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Comfortable using  EMR systems ( Epic preferred )
• Willing/able to  float within ~40 miles

Note: Candidates whose experience is limited to long-term care only (SNF/LTC/home health/LTAC) may struggle in this environment.
