Kitchen Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our busy kitchen. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic culinary team, ensure high standards of food quality, and maintain efficient kitchen workflows. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
- Plan and develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, considering customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee food preparation to maintain quality, presentation, and safety standards
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste and control costs
- Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to implement new recipes, techniques, and operational improvements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety standards, and sanitation regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to plan menus and manage inventory effectively
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends
- Culinary certification or relevant culinary education is preferred
