Travel Inpatient Pharmacist | Pataskala, Ohio

Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a hospital inpatient setting with a focus on ensuring safe, effective medication use and patient-centered service. This travel opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with every sixth weekend coverage and corresponding days off during the week, providing a balanced work-life arrangement.


Key Responsibilities:

• Review, interpret, and accurately dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
• Monitor patient medication therapies for therapeutic appropriateness and effectiveness, considering patient age and condition.
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory standards.
• Communicate drug information clearly to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Participate in emergency drug therapy management, including medication preparation and ensuring adequate medication supplies.
• Coordinate day-to-day pharmacy technician activities to optimize department workflow and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
