About Framework

Framework is building the decision layer inside enterprise AI. We turn repeatable business judgment into reusable software. Our platform captures how knowledge workers make decisions and encodes that expertise into Decisionware that determines what the business should do, not just how work flows.

This approach has already been proven in production at global scale, where a decision system operating inside a large sourcing organization delivered 97% decision accuracy and 90% cost compression on a high-volume manual workflow. We are now turning that production proof into a category-defining company.

We’re looking for a founding CTO to help build that category. You will work directly with the CEO to define and build Framework’s technical foundation: product architecture, core platform capabilities, engineering strategy, and the systems that allow Decisionware to scale across workflows, customers, and use cases.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to architect and build a new layer of enterprise software, not inherit one.

What You’ll Own

• Define the architecture for Framework’s decision layer
• Build core platform primitives for encoding, orchestrating, governing, and reusing decision workflows
• Lead the design of backend services, infrastructure, security, and platform patterns
• Build production-grade AI systems that connect customer context, decision logic, and model execution
• Ship early product directly and stay close to implementation detail
• Recruit and lead the first engineering hires
• Establish a high bar for technical quality, urgency, and product judgment

What We’re Looking For

• You are a strong technical builder with product instincts and systems judgment.
• Experience building and shipping production software from the ground up
• Deep strength in backend systems, APIs, data-intensive applications, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience operationalizing AI or ML in production environments
• Strong intuition for modular, scalable, resilient system design
• Ability to move quickly without creating fragile systems
• Comfort being highly hands-on in a seed-stage environment

Relevant Technical Background Strong candidates will likely have experience with several of the following:

• Python and/or TypeScript backend development
• API and service-oriented architecture
• Data pipelines and structured / unstructured data handling
• Cloud-native infrastructure and deployment
• Containers and orchestration
• Workflow, rules-based, or decision systems
• Applied AI / ML systems in production
• Model orchestration, inference layers, or related runtime systems
• Enterprise integrations and security-conscious architecture Experience turning ambiguous, judgment-heavy workflows into reliable software is especially valuable.
