Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $31.00-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Position Summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Bookkeeper / Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a growing company within the lighting and safety industry. This hands-on role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking transactions, cash management, and month-end accounting support.

This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can work independently while collaborating with a small, team-oriented organization.

Essential Functions:

• Process bi-weekly payroll using Paychex or a comparable payroll system.
• Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and weekly payment runs.
• Apply customer payments and monitor accounts receivable aging.
• Process ACH payments, wire transfers, remote deposits, and credit card transactions.
• Perform daily cash management activities and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Enter and maintain accounting transactions within NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities.
• Assist with sales tax filings, 1099 reporting, and insurance audits.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready financial records.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support accounting and operational needs.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience processing payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Experience using Paychex or a similar payroll platform.
• Experience processing ACH payments and wire transfers.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality.
