Schedule: Full Time (40hrs/week) What You'll Do The Medical Staff Service Specialist will assist the Medical Staff Services Coordinator as directed for all functions of the Medical Staff Office. Key areas of focus include assistance with credentialing, privileging, onboarding, transition to MD Staff and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Obtaining documents/verification for initial appointment and reappointment including credentials, licensure, education, training and experience. Transition from current paper process to MD Staff. Support onboarding and new provider orientation. Medical staff office coverage of Medical Staff Meetings including preparing minutes. Track essential provider documents including Missouri medical license, BNDD, DEA and other required certifications. Tracking of provider CME Confirmation of maintenance of malpractice coverage Other tasks as assigned by the Medical Staff Service Coordinator Requirements High school diploma Previous experience in medical staff services or credentialing.
