Phlebotomist

Location: Bridgeton, NJ. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 1:30pm and rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other clinical tests. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
