This is a hands-on, analytical role where your insights directly influence smarter buying decisions and long-term savings.Own and maintain accurate product costs, pricing, vendor details, part classifications, and purchasing data within our ERP systemMonitor vendor spend, rogue spend, and purchasing activity to identify off-contract buying and non-compliant behaviorAnalyze purchase orders, pricing trends, and spend patterns to uncover cost-saving opportunities and process improvementsCompare actual purchases against negotiated vendor pricing to ensure pricing compliance and contract adherenceConduct cost analysis and benchmarking to support vendor negotiations and continuous improvement initiativesPrepare and deliver recurring reports on vendor spend, rogue spend, pricing compliance, and savings opportunities for Operations and leadershipCollaborate closely with internal partners to gather data, align purchasing activity, and support better purchasing disciplineProactively communicate vendor or office-related issues to leadershipEnsure all work is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and client specificationsContribute positively to a professional, collaborative, and high-integrity work environmentTake on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and business goalsWhat Makes Nextech Different? What We're Looking For We're seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in data-driven environments and takes ownership of purchasing accuracy and compliance.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field (preferred)3+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, supply chain management, or a similar roleExpert-level Excel skills with the ability to analyze and present complex data clearlyStrong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and organizationExcellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with ERP systems and the ability to learn new software quicklyPower BI experience is a plusPrevious purchasing or vendor management experience in the HVAC industry is strongly preferredAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teamsPhysical RequirementsContinuously able to work in office environmentContinuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printerContinuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hoursAble to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the dayOccasionally able to lift up to 15 lbs.Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talkingOccasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouchingRarely requires climbingOther requirements:May be required to use personal smartphone with a camera capable of reading a QR code for 2 factor authentication
