Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Richmond, VA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and functional skills in a hospital setting. This opportunity supports professional growth while serving diverse adult and/or pediatric patient populations.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
Two years of experience in a hospital setting required.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
Clinical documentation experience and proficiency with electronic medical records preferred.
Experience treating patients with acute medical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with early mobilization, ADL retraining, splinting, and cognitive-based interventions preferred.
Prior travel or contract experience preferred but not required.

Assignment Details
Shift hours: 07:00–17:00.
Shift days include a five-day schedule with 10-hour shifts per day.
Work site: hospital-based occupational therapy; candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
