Receptionist/AideThe Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.This is an on-site Receptionist/Aide position located in Shrewsbury, MO. Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space for our retired priests to live in community with one another. This position is part time, 8 hours per week, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts as available. The shifts are as follows: Monday evening, 7 pm – 11 pm, and Saturday evening, 7 pm – 11 pm. The front office schedule is made monthly and extra available shifts will be offered to team members in advance as well as urgent needs to cover vacation and sick time of other team members. Availability to work overnight shifts is a plus.Job ResponsibilitiesAnswering telephonesLogging and directing visitorsServing and assisting priests with minor administrative and/or health-related tasks, such as making copies or giving eyedropsHandling emergencies by contacting leadership and working with emergency servicesLight housekeeping, including cleaning floors and bathrooms in the common areasOther miscellaneous responsibilities that vary based on exact hours workedJob RequirementsSchedule: The schedule is made monthly. The front office is open 24/7. Shifts are typically 4 or 8 hours: 7 am - 3 pm, 3 pm - 11 pm, and 11pm - 7 am.
