About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit Profession: Adult Services Specialty: Critical Need Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Experience: 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Must-Have: NIH Stroke Scale Certificate and CCRN preferred; Dialysis, SLED or equivalent preferred Description: Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required. Two years of recent ICU nursing experience is preferred. The candidate must be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a challenging environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting are essential. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking skills to make decisions in urgent situations. Flexibility to work different shifts and adapt to changing workloads is necessary. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with nursing best practices is important.
