About the Position

Job Title: Endo/GI Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: GI/Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Four 9-hour days with one day off weekly Hours per Shift: Either 0730-1700 or 0830-1800 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must hold a valid RN license Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: - Pre-op and recovery experience - Advanced GI case experience - Conscious sedation experience Description: We are seeking an Endo/GI Registered Nurse with a strong background in pre-op and recovery. Experience with advanced cases and MAC is preferred. The unit includes 10 procedure/OR rooms with both outpatient and inpatient services. The average number of cases per day is 30, including procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Dilations, and food impactions. Nurses will work a rotating call schedule, requiring coverage for weekends and holidays as necessary. On-call nurses should have conscious sedation experience and the ability to handle advanced cases. The call response time is expected to be between 45-60 minutes. No floating is required among units. Facility supplies scrubs for all staff.
